11 + Practice Exams In Birmingham
All children who are thinking of taking the 11+ independent school entry exams need the experience of practice exams. This is for two reasons:
1) To experience exam conditions having to manage a different and formal setting under time pressure.
2) To assess afterward exactly what can be worked on in preparation for the real exams in terms of pace, gaps in work, and techniques.
All practice exams take place live in an exam setting. They are up to date and replicate a similar format of Birmingham independent school style exams. They are pitched at examination level difficulty but often children say that the real exams are easier than mine; it’s much better that way round as it gives them confidence and helps them to relax into the exams.
If your child is unable to attend the live exam, it can be bought to do at home under timed conditions, and marking and feedback will be given in the usual way.
